Markings:

each part signed, indistinctly inscribed and dated 'Sheng Qi 2007' on the reverse

Condition:

The canvas and stretchers are in good condition. There is minor rubbing to the corners and in places along the extreme edges of both parts, only visible on close inspection. There is a small media accretion to the upper left horizontal edge of the black part (approx. 1.5 cm in length), deemed inherent to the artist's studio. The work has been examined under ultraviolet light and no restoration appears. Otherwise, there are no apparent condition issues with this work.
